Duolingo Raises 2025 Forecast as AI-Powered Subscription Gains Momentum

 


Duolingo, the leading language-learning platform, has raised its 2025 revenue forecast thanks to growing demand for its AI-powered subscription service, Duolingo Max. This premium tier integrates OpenAI's technology to provide personalized feedback and conversation practice through features like “Explain My Answer” and “Roleplay.”


The company now expects full-year revenue to reach between $987 million and $996 million, surpassing analyst expectations. CEO Luis von Ahn credits the surge to enhanced user engagement, stronger brand visibility on TikTok, and the strategic use of generative AI to improve language retention.

  Rhinos went extinct in Uganda in the 1980s, but in 2006, six rhinos were reintroduced to Ziwa ranch, a former cattle farm in the center of the country. These have now multiplied to 48.
