Colombian Businesses Embrace Digital Transformation: 69% to Maintain or Increase Tech Spending

A recent study by Rocking Edge, a firm specializing in innovation and business strategy, reveals that Colombian companies are showing remarkable resilience and commitment to digital transformation. According to the report, 69% of companies across multiple sectors plan to either maintain or increase their investment in technology during 2025, despite the challenges posed by inflation and market uncertainty.

The survey included over 1,200 companies, ranging from small enterprises to large corporations. Respondents highlighted cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and automation as top priorities. These technologies are seen not only as tools for productivity but also as essential to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, data protection, and business continuity.

What’s particularly significant is that even traditional industries such as agriculture, construction, and retail are beginning to adopt tech solutions at a faster pace. The report notes that the pandemic accelerated digital adoption, and companies that adapted quickly are now outperforming their competitors. As a result, the Colombian business landscape is gradually transforming into one that is more agile, digitally connected, and future-ready.
