Pearson Sees Growth as AI Transforms Higher Education Resources


Pearson, a global educational publisher, reported a 6% rise in its higher education segment during Q1 2025, as universities increasingly adopt AI-integrated learning platforms. The company’s AI-driven tools help instructors generate quizzes, analyze student performance, and adapt content in real time.


CEO Andy Bird stated that the shift to hybrid learning and virtual assessments is accelerating the adoption of intelligent learning systems. Pearson is investing heavily in predictive analytics to tailor course materials and improve student outcomes across diverse subjects, including English language learning.

  Rhinos went extinct in Uganda in the 1980s, but in 2006, six rhinos were reintroduced to Ziwa ranch, a former cattle farm in the center of the country. These have now multiplied to 48.
